CUET UG 2022 Analysis: On the sixth day of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) ended at 12:15 p.m., candidates who appeared for CUET 2022 analyzed the easy-to-moderate paper. CUET UG 2022 has three sections; section 1A having 13 languages, section 1B- 20 languages, section II- 27 subject area specific subjects, section III- general test. Aspirants must achieve a minimum of 60% points to be eligible for CUET 2022.

Analyzing the CUET (UG) 2022 article from the morning session, Amitendra Kumar, Product Manager – CUET and Undergraduate Programs, Career Launcher said, “The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Phase 2 started on Thursday, August 4. However, most students had to return from many centers due to technical issues and canceled exams. Day 6 had the same trend as Day 5, and many students had to return many centers due to the same technical problem.

“The paper today was on the expected lines, and to the relief of the students, the topics in the field were easy to moderate,” he added.

CUET UG 2022: section analysis by experts

The English document in Section 1 focused on vocabulary and grammar. With 15 questions based on reading comprehension, the objective was to test basic grammar and vocabulary.

Questions were based on synonyms, antonyms, fill in the blanks, word substitution, misspellings, figures of speech, par. Overall, the work was easy and the students could easily complete it in the given time. Some students even reported completing the section well before the 45 min time limit.

  • Section 2: Domain Topics

Mixed reactions were received from students today, with some rating the papers in the subject areas as moderate, unlike previous ones where most students said the papers were easy.

Students found the legal studies paper easy with 4-5 questions based on the constitution, 3-4 each on international law, arbitration, and legal services. The story got mixed reactions. Some students found the section too long. But most of the questions were direct lines from NCERT. The political science questions were on the NTA Mock model. The chapters or topics that received great emphasis were regional aspirations and democratic development, and coalition politics. About 60-70% of the questions were from the second political science book. Match the following questions based on the domination of 8 to 10 of them based on the rise of new social movements; Globalization and its detractors.

The General Awareness section of the section had less current affairs and static general knowledge questions with questions asked about awards, books; Authors and personalities. Numerical capacity had basic questions; if one had practiced well, one would have found the questions easy to solve. 4-5 questions were based on percentage, ratios, number system, time distance and; Accelerate everyone. And an easy to moderate pass was there on set theory. And some questions were also asked from the geometry and were easy to solve. The reasoning-based questions in the section were easy to moderate. 3-4 questions were from series, coding, sense of direction; Blood ties each. And the simple questions came from dice, from mirror images.
