SHIBA INU (SHIB/USD) – Shiba Inu’s cloud credentials leaked into public domain, says security researcher

shiba inus SHIB/USD potentially compromised infrastructure, according to research by cloud security platform PingSafe.

What happened: Pingsafe’s research executive discovered leaked Shiba Inu Amazon Web Services (AWS) account credentials on a public code repository, cloud security platform founder Anand Prakash wrote in a post. of blogging.

The PingSafe team discovered that the reason for the credentials leak was a Shiba Inu developer committing AWS infrastructure keys to a public GitHub repository.

The powers were “valid for two days, after which they became invalid”.

Why it matters: During those two days, PingSafe thinks, the exposed credentials may have been abused by a hacker.

“This vulnerability severely exposed the company’s AWS account, which we believe has the potential to cause serious security breaches, including but not limited to theft of user funds, embezzlement of tokens, interruption of services, etc.,” Prakash said.

The cloud security company reportedly attempted to contact the core developers of the Shiba Inu team via Twitter and Telegram, but received no response.
