How to Unlock Sun and Rain Domain Coordinates in Genshin Impact
The all-new Sumeru region in Genshin Impact is home to several secrets, but the Sun and Rain coordinate realm is blocking several players who are struggling to reach it. This estate is located in the southwestern part of Sumeru in the Apam Woods region, which lies between the Ashavan Kingdom and the Ardravi Valley.
Although the domain icon is marked on the map, there is apparently no way to get to it at first glance. It’s because he cannot be unlocked until you complete a certain world quest first. Here is how to unlock Sun and Rain Domain coordinates in Sumeru in Genshin Impact 3.0.
How to Access Sun and Rain Domain Coordinates in Genshin Impact 3.0
The sun and rain coordinate domain is actually located underground, which is why there doesn’t seem to be any surface entry. To reach the Domain, you have to descend into a pit located in the middle of the island in the center of the nearby lake. You can see its location marked on the map below.
However, before you can access the underground part of Apam Woods and reach the coordinates of the Sun and Rain Domain, you must complete the Varuna Gatha questline. This World Quest cannot be started until you have received the Book of Aranyaka during the Sumeru main story questline. You’ll know you’re far enough away if your current Dream Nursery quest is “Children of the Forest”.
How to Start Varuna Gatha World Quest in Genshin Impact
Once you’ve made enough progress in the main Sumeru story, you can start the Varuna Gatha world quest north of Apam Woods, just below the Statue of the Seven. It will be marked on your map once you will be close enough. After accepting the world quest, simply complete the listed objectives as normal. Eventually you will be sent underground and the entrance to the underground part of Apam Woods (pictured below) will open and allow you to descend to the lower levels.
Once you delve into the depths beneath Apam Woods, you’ll find new areas to explore and, more importantly, a clear path to the coordinates of the Sun and Rain realm. Simply continue along the main path to reach your Varuna Gatha objectives and you will naturally come across the entrance to The Domain. Be sure to interact with it so you can quickly return to it later! There are a few other hard-to-reach areas in Sumeru, so keep an eye out for alternate routes and do as many World Quests as you can.
